Tecno launched the Phantom 6 (A6) last month (September 2016) and there’s been quite some buzz about it. Team Hovatek got its hands on a copy of this phone so I’ll be walking you through the unboxing. As we delve deeper into this phone, we’ll be dropping a hands on & performance review of the Tecno Phantom 6 and of course, cool Android Mods for our members at the Hovatek Forum.
When the package arrived, it looked quite big. Taking it out of the courier’s protective packaging, revealed the Tecno Phantom 6 in a Black box with a protective nylon seal.
* Note: I included the Hovatek 2-in-1 Pen to act as a Size Reference so our fans who got the pen can have an idea of the sizes and dimensions of other objects in the pictures. It doesn’t ship with the Phantom 6.

Here’s the side view of a brand new Tecno Phantom 6 (Boxed / Unopened)
Behind the box were some of the phone’s informations like its Model, IMEI 1 & 2, VC number, color etc.
Peeling off the seal allowed me pull out two boxes,
In the smaller of the two boxes were some accessories which included 1 protective case, 1 tempered glass (screen protector), 1 ear piece and 1 type C adapter.
Lifting the cover of the bigger box revealed the Tecno Phantom 6
In this same box contained the manuals & warranty card, more accessories which included 1 detachable plug AC power adapter (with 1 2-pin and 1 3-pin plug) and 1 USB cable
The Front view of the Tecno Phantom 6 had no Tecno branding
The rear view of the Tecno Phantom 6 had Tecno branding and the Refocus dual camera
At the top were the headphone jack and reset hole
On the left were the SIM and USB slots, similar in design to that of the iPhone and Infinx Zero (X506)
On the right side were the power and volume buttons
At the bottom was the USB port in between two speakers
