Blackberry has been facing a lot of problems recently and there doesn’t seem to be much of an end in sight. Yet another nail in the Blackberry coffin is the discontinuation of its Device and Developers forums from last Saturday (April 1, 2017). I was hoping it was going to be an April Fool’s prank (it would’ve been an expensive one if you asked me) but six days later, its still a reality. Here’s the message at the Blackberry Device support forum:
BlackBerry Support Community Forums
Thank you for your interest in the BlackBerry® Support Community Forums.
Please be advised:
The BlackBerry Support Community Device Forums have closed.
The BlackBerry Developer Support Forums have moved.
Device Support Forums Have Closed
The BlackBerry Device Support Community Forums have closed as of April 1, 2017. BlackBerry remains committed to providing excellent customer support to our customers.
We are delighted to direct you to the CrackBerry Forums, a well-established and thorough support channel, for continued BlackBerry device support.
And at the Developers support forums is:
Developer Support Forums Have Moved
All the developer support forum content and knowledge base resources have moved to a new system as of April 1, 2017. Rest assured that all the content is still available!
Any hope for Blackberry users?
The good news is that the content and support lives on at the Crackberry website. The Hovatek Forum’s Blackberry Help Section will also be stepping up support to help our Blackberry using followers. A lot of attention will now be focused on the suceess or flop of the BlackBerry KeyOne; a device which might prove to be Blackberry’s last move (before suffering a Checkmate) or game changer
You might recall that Team Hovatek last month discontinued BBM support for IMS and Premium support.
